ABANGSAPAU is a Malay-Sikh rapper who isn’t afraid to challenge the boundaries of the local music scene. Known for donning his sarung, ABANGSAPAU is a firm proponent of representing his culture and ethnicity in his artistry. He crafts his own poetic verses into the South East Asian rap scene, inspiring uniqueness and individuality in his listeners.
After being signed to the label, he released two singles, “hahaha” and “Boyhood.” He was featured in The Great Singapore Replay and performed at Mediacorp’s 2020 New Year’s Eve Countdown. He was also invited as a guest speaker at TEDxYouth at Singapore Polytechnic.
